Why Disc Golf?

What is Disc Golf?
Disc Golf is a rapidly growing sport played much like (and scored exactly like) traditional golf.  Instead of hitting a ball into a hole, players throw discs (similar to a Frisbee) into elevated metal baskets.  Discs of varying weights and thicknesses are used for different shots, much like the various clubs used in golf.  As in “ball” golf, the ultimate goal to disc golf is to complete the course with the fewest number of shots.
